Senar is a family owned business which was originally formed in Birkenhead 70 years ago as an automotive engineering company. For the past 30 years the company has specialised in high precision engineering and the production of top quality machined components for some of the UK’s most demanding industries.
COMPANY OVERVIEW
The company is based in a modern 14,0002 ft facility with excellent access less than five minutes from the M53 motorway. Senar principally offers high precision CNC machining for volume components alongside CNC wire erosion and conventional machining and toolroom skills for the production of prototypes and sub assemblies. The company is also one of few in the UK which also specialises in the production and re-conditioning of white metal bearings together with re-conditioning services to the petro chemical industry.

PRECISION ENGINEERING
Senar capacity includes vertical CNC 3 axis and 4th axis machining centres, CNC lathes including new turn/mill multi axis (Y axis) turning centres with bar feed up to 75mm dia, and CNC wire erosion capacity.
This capacity is supported by most forms of convention milling, turning, boring and grinding/honing etc.
A new Hexagon CNC co-ordinate measuring machine purchased in 2011 provides state of the art inspection facilities.
Our capacity is supported by a highly skilled and professional workforce and we are proud to have several employees who have been with us for almost 40 years service.
